The platform is a digital initiative connected to Al-Manar Society for Culture and Creativity, designed to empower young women and men to transform their skills and talents into real employment and income-generating opportunities through freelancing and the digital economy. It will provide an online space that connects skilled young people with clients and organizations, allowing youth to showcase their services, build professional profiles, access projects and job opportunities, and communicate with clients locally and internationally.
The idea is based on Al-Manar’s belief that Palestinian youth possess significant skills, creativity, and potential, yet limited traditional employment opportunities and challenging economic and social conditions often prevent them from fully benefiting from these capacities. The platform therefore seeks to bring employment opportunities into the digital space and help young people—particularly those living in refugee camps, villages, and marginalized communities—access markets and opportunities beyond their geographic location.
The platform will go beyond simply listing freelance services. It aims to create an integrated freelancing ecosystem that combines skills development, training, career guidance, digital portfolios, client matching, and professional networking. Through this approach, the platform will support young people in developing sustainable career pathways and becoming more active participants in the digital economy.
